  1. Receive your workbook

    No physical book will be shipped. After successful payment, you’ll receive an email with your download link.

  2. Fill it in digitally or print

    One fillable digital workbook in English, supplied as a PDF with 18 workbook pages plus one copyright and use-license page (19 pages total). Complete it in a compatible PDF app, or print it and write by hand.

  3. Save and update

    Keep an unchanged blank copy. Save your completed workbook as a separate file, then reopen it to check that your answers were saved.

Complete a guide alongside the person it describes, including their voice wherever possible. Share the finished copy with their support team so the people around them have a personal reference for what helps. Individuals can also complete a guide for themselves, with support as needed.

About the creators

Created by Amanda Staples, MOT, OTR/L, and Olivia Martinez-Hauge, MA, OTR/L, LMFT, of Birdwalk Therapy Collective. The authors bring decades of combined clinical experience to the workbooks.

The workbooks draw on concepts from sensory processing, regulation, and communication to help describe the individual and the supports that work for them.

Use license

Each purchase permits use for one individual. You and that individual’s caregivers and support professionals may save, fill in, and print copies as needed for that individual. Completed copies may be shared with their family, caregivers, teachers, clinicians, and other support-team members.

The blank workbook and download link may not be shared, publicly posted, resold, sublicensed, or used to distribute copies to others without permission. Use with additional individuals, or across a classroom, clinic, or organization, requires additional purchases or written permission from the copyright owners. This license does not restrict uses permitted by applicable law.
