Support for daily life, emotional well-being, and the spaces around us.
Birdwalk Therapy Collective offers occupational therapy, mental health therapy, and sensory-informed design for individuals, families, schools, workplaces, and organizations. Services are individualized and may be available in person, through telehealth, or by consultation depending on the service, location, provider licensure, and appropriateness.
Occupational Therapy
Individualized support for participation, sensory needs, motor skills, accessibility, school participation, and meaningful daily activities.
Mental Health Therapy
Relationship-centered psychotherapy supporting emotional well-being, connection, caregiving, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and family or couple dynamics.
Sensory-Informed Design
Sensory-informed consultation and design for homes, schools, workplaces, and community settings, shaped around the people who use each space and what they want and need to do there.
In person, online, and through consultation.
In-person services are available at Birdwalk’s Arcadia location. Telehealth may be available to clients located in California depending on the service, provider licensure, and clinical appropriateness. Sensory-informed design and consultation may also extend to homes, schools, workplaces, and organizations beyond the clinic.
Supporting participation in everyday life.
Occupational therapy at Birdwalk supports children and adults in understanding their strengths and support needs and participating more fully in everyday life. Our work is neuro-affirming, relationship-based, and shaped around each person’s nervous system, goals, routines, and environments.
Services include individual or interdisciplinary assessment, individualized therapy, consultation and parent intensives, and independent educational evaluations (IEEs). Across each pathway, we collaborate with clients and families to develop practical, meaningful support for life at home, school, work, and in the community.
Support for emotional well-being and connection.
Birdwalk provides relationship-centered psychotherapy for individuals, couples, parents, caregivers, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the emotional demands of caregiving.
Mental health therapy is provided by Olivia Martinez-Hauge, MA, OTR/L, LMFT. Her occupational therapy background contributes to a whole-person perspective, while psychotherapy remains a distinct mental health service. Telehealth may be available to clients located in California depending on clinical appropriateness and fit.
Environments shaped around the people who use them.
Birdwalk provides sensory-informed consultation and design for homes, schools, workplaces, and community settings. We consider sensory needs, activities, accessibility, organization, comfort, and the practical realities of everyday life.
Support may range from focused recommendations and room planning to broader organization, home editing, and comprehensive design support. Each project is individualized and grounded in a collaborative, context-aware, and neuro-affirming approach.
